Holland

Holland State Park: One of Michigan’s most visited state parks featuring beautiful beaches, fishing, a boat launch, restrooms & changing areas, small playgrounds, and camping.

Windmill Island Garden: Explore the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States and beautiful walking trails.

Outdoor Discovery Center: A nature preserve including an educational facility, exhibits on native animals, a play area for kids, and walking trails.

Veldheer Tulip Garden: Visit Holland’s only tulip farm perennial garden. Walk through the tulips around the end of April to mid-May or visit the landscaped perennial garden from June 1st to mid-October to see thousands of Dutch lilies, daylilies, peonies, and others.

Holland Museum: Explore Holland’s rich history and see the impressive collection of Dutch art and artifacts.

Grand Haven

Grand Haven Lighthouse and Pier: Enjoy a stroll along the boardwalk and witness beautiful views, including one of the most photographed lighthouses in the Midwest.

Grand Haven State Park: Relax on the sandy beach and take a swim in Lake Michigan, featuring a campground, overnight lodge, picnic area, and pavilion with restrooms & changing rooms.

Grand Haven Musical Fountain: Witness this incredible free light show over the water, happening regularly after sunset through Labor Day weekend and then weekends through the end of September.

Muskegon State Park: Home to 3 miles of sandy shoreline, multiple trails, two campgrounds, and picnic areas.

Lakeshore Bike Trail: Bike this beautiful 20-mile paved trail that runs parallel to Lakeshore Drive.
